Police in the Iranian capital, Tehran, have clashed with a group of workers protesting in front of the country's parliament against unpaid wages.

Police used batons and fired shots in the air to disperse the crowd. Eight people were injured.
It is the second such demonstration in a week. The workers employed by the Jamco men's clothing factory and the Shadanpour shoe factory, say they have not been paid for more than a year. They staged a similar demonstration last month.
