Tehran: Rally & march in front of parliament for the release of Reza Shahabi

Today, September 5, 2017, Tehran: A rally and march by workers of the Tehran Bus Company together with students and other labour activists and teachers took place in the morning in front of the parliament (Majles) and the surrounding streets in support of the release of the imprisoned worker, Reza Shahabi, despite heavy security presence (reported by the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company).

Reza Shahabi has been on hunger strike since his re-incarceration on August 9, 2017. His health has been rapidly deteriorating. There are growing urgent campaigns in Iran and internationally for his immediate and unconditional freedom.
